Artist Bio's

Alex Grey - Alex Grey is best known for his paintings that "X-ray" multiple dimensions of reality, interweaving physical and biological anatomy with psychic and spiritual energies. Grey's visual meditation on the nature of life and consciousness, the subject of his art, is contained in three books.  His two monographs, Sacred Mirrors and Transfigurations , follow the history of Grey's artistic life.  The Mission of Art reflects on art as a spiritual practice.  Grey's world renown career includes exhibitions and keynote addresses from Basel, to Tokyo, to Sao Paulo, and features on the Discovery Channel, in Newsweek and Time Magazines.  Grey's art has been used on albums for the multi-platinum bands Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Tool, and String Cheese Incident.  Grey's most outstanding and widely appreciated works of transformative art can been seen in New York City at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, a long term exhibition in New York City.  "Grey's vision of a flawed but perfectible mankind stands as an antidote to the cynicism and spiritual malaise prevalent in much contemporary art."-- New York Times.   ( In our catalog see Images marked AG) www.alexgrey.com   www.alexgrey.com

Mark Henson - Considers it his life's self-ordained duty to create a body of work that is filled with positive imagery surrounding lovemaking in a culture where sex is often associated with exploitation, violence and abuse. In his vibrant colored oil paintings he delights in emulating the divine by bringing something out of nothing into its own sense of existence. Through these images the deepest parts of our collective soul are delivered visually imbued with the core of creation and the love of humanity.   He has been painting his amazing work for over 30 years, was a featured speaker at Mindstates, and his work has been displayed on the album covers of bands such as the String Cheese Incident.   ( In our catalog see Images marked MH )   www.sacredlight.to

Michael Green- Is a Modern Shamanistic Artist whose work spans many decades of time and many artistic disciplines. His latest works have been collaborations with poet Coleman Barks to Illuminate Rumi (A well known Sufi Mystic Poet) in a modern, yet transtemporal style. This creative collaboration has yielded the best selling books: The Illuminated Rumi and One Song. Michael has this to say about his work as an artist: “We are witness today to the emergence of an ancient spiritual vitality into modern affairs. Call it THE RIVER OF SANITY, an underground current which has run through all history, nourishing visionaries in every tradition. It comes from the deepest wellsprings of our humanity, and it moves us into deep harmony with the natural world. It does not contradict scientific thought, but the River offers a profoundly wider way of engaging reality. It is caught rather than taught. My work is discovering images that illuminate this process.” ( In our catalog see Images marked MG) www.michaelgreenarts.com

Michael Dubois - The art of Michael DuBois has been described as visionary, surrealistic, psychedelic, all of which fail to adequately define a body of work that transcends conventional categorization.   Working in mixed media, oil painting and computer graphics DuBois has established himself as a pioneer in the work of contemporary music art, with commissions by the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, Hot Tuna, The Jerry Garcia Band, The Wailers, Phil Lesh and Friends, Santana, and The Rolling Stones.   ( In our catalog see Images marked MD )   www.happylifeproductions.com

Amy Zerner - is one of the leading collage artists in the world. She uses an appliqued palette of found materials, vintage textiles and amulets to make her worlds of wonder rich with layers of meaning and imagination.   For thirty years she has used her prodigious talent to create more than eight hundred works of art, all of which embody and convey the inspiration and healing power she has experienced through her study and personal application of ancient sacred teachings. Her pioneering and unique artistic style was recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts with a major fellowship in the category of Painting.   Her collages appear throughout the twenty best-selling books, including The Enchanted Tarot , The Oracle of the Goddess, The Truth Fairy , and The Chakra Meditation Kit , all of which she has co-created with her author husband, Monte Farber, with close to two million copies in print around the world.  In addition, Amy creates one-of-a-kind Spiritual Couture jackets that can be seen at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.   Her work is in the collections of numerous corporations and prominent individuals, including Elizabeth Taylor and Michael J. Fox. ( In our catalog see Images marked AZ) www.theenchantedworld.com

Jeff Spackman - His art is inspired by his love of nature. He combines this with cultural, spiritual and mythological elements from around the world.   From this starting point he creates images that are playful and tickle the imagination into life.   He works with light and color to manifest his vision in a way that brings new life to the myth.   ( In our catalog see Images marked JS )   www.spackmanart.com

Luke Brown - Is an intrepid explorer, part of a new generation of visionaries reconstructing the templates of culture, as we know it.   His art speaks of the spiritual mysteries in the human imagination.   Mystical experiences, dreams, medicine journeys, and channeled lucid dialogues with the source of creativity itself, seem to guide and be guided by the colorful symmetries and living surfaces of his art.   Much of his work is a graceful synthesis of digital and painting mediums.   Developing his work through mix and remix technologies, Luke is constantly redefining his style as a spiritual medium for growth.   His intention with his art is to map his hyper-spatial journeys with utmost accuracy, a form of multi-dimensional cartography.   His art has been shown internationally with such visionary heavyweights such as Alex Grey, HR Geiger, Robert Venosa and Ernst Fuchs.   ( In our catalog see Images marked LB )   www.spectraleyes.com

Carey Thompson - Exploring countless natural power spots and Mesoamerican sacred sites, he developed a keen interest in ancient cultures and their expression through the arts and cosmology. Carey describes his work as holomorphic transmission vision crystals. The imagery, sourced from the universal matrix, channels through and crystallizes into form onto templates based on sacred geometry and other patterns of nature. Beginning usually with only a seed of intention, the color and form evolve unconsciously to create the finished art. Revealing the inter connectedness of all things is the primary intention of Carey's artwork.   ( In our catalog see Images marked CT )   www.galactivation.com

Vibrata Chromodoris - Her images include elements of symmetry and rhythmic patterning, geometry, and the use of perceptual distortions. She is an intermedia artist, seamlessly blending computer design with traditional acrylic-on-canvas techniques. Vibrata distills the essence of her subjects into basic energy forms; pieces of a boundless whole in perpetual movement and change. She explores the flow between fundamental polarities and the blurring of the division between them. Each image describes a metaphysical ontology of rhythms, patterns and parallels; an exploration of the infinitely divisible: Existence as a continuum.
